Beginners in French

Equivalent to a Bachelor, this unique University Degree gives the opportunity to non French speaking students, after one year of completion, to join the Business and management Master programs of our university. The master degrees are national diplomas delivered by the French Ministry.

Dates : September 2010 to june 2011

ONE YEAR DEGREE COURSE CONTENTS

Intensive French language courses (in the Linguistics Faculty)

-Language and civilization
-Economic and business vocabulary

Business and management courses (in the Business and Economics Faculty)

-Management : Market structure, theory of organizations, introduction to Law, and Human resource management
-Economic and business culture : General economics, International trade
-Methodology and understanding of industrial sectors : Sectorial and functional approach of industries, preparation for a professional project
-Economical and political analysis: European construction and integration, macro economics of work and social politics
-Marketing : Marketing strategy, applied distribution and Marketing

Enrolment and conditions

-Authorization from your university to enter a Master in China. A written exam and interview in China is organized on april 22nd in Shanghai.
-Good level in English and beginner in French (about 300 hours studied).
-Enrolment file: Deadline is end of may, after students are interviewed in April 2010 in Campus France, by a professor from our university

MASTER DEGREE (after students pass the above one year degree exams)

Dates: September 2011 to june 2013

Objectives

This 2 year program trains students to acquire and master management skills. The approach is based on academic and professional teachings. Specialties are offered in the second year of the program among:

Marketing and production of services / Audit and control / Human resource management and international mobility / Design and Luxury industry

Organization for 2 years

- First year : Common program in business, research work and indivdidual coaching by university professors. Some students have a one year contract in companies while in class.

- Second year: A specialized approach by sector, and a long internship in a company or public organization

Carreer path and positions

Students are able to manage and take responsibilities in various fields and sectors, and join private and public companies and institutions, in domestic and international markets.

Conditions of access

Obtain a Bachelor degree, or the above one year University degree of Marne la Valle University.

Tuition fees

About 5000 euros for the one year University degree.

Less than 500 euros per year for the following 2 years of Master degree (this is the Public system fee)
