Attention, le recruteur ne prévient pas toujours… et il peut enchaîner sans transition dans la langue de Shakespeare ! Si vous êtes surpris, n’hésitez pas à répondre : « I’m sorry, I didn’t understand. Could you repeat, please ? », le temps de réfléchir à une réponse correcte ! Dans tous les cas, vous ne pouvez pas vous dérober à cette question, ni hésiter plusieurs secondes pour chercher vos mots de manière malhabile.Vous devez faire de votre mieux quitte à énoncer une phrase toute faite pour excuser votre défaillance comme « I am afraid, my English is not good enough ». De toute façon, ne vous faites aucune illusion. Si le recruteur poursuit la conversation en anglais, c’est tout simplement parce que le poste exige impérativement d’être bilingue.
