Valider /Validate

法语动词“valider”意思是“使……生效”（rendre valide），如 : valider le contrat：签合同，批准合同 (sign, approve a contract), 当然也可以批准别的东西。
Exemple:
Voici ma demande de congé. Pouvez-vous la valider?
Here is my vacation request. Could you approve it?
这是我的休假申请（报告），能批准吗？
法国的车票也要“valider”之后才“生效”的：要盖个日期戳，这是为了防止重复使用。如果在上车前，你忘了在检票机（里盖章，上车后，一定要找列车员补上，不然会罚款哦！
Valider le ticket = composter le billet（to stamp the ticket）

N'oubliez pas de valider （composter） votre billet.

别忘了检票哦。
但“valider le ticket” 还可以是商家“代付顾客停车费”的意思，这里的“valider”可以翻译为英语的“validate”。

当然，商家还可以用代金券（bon d’achat）的方式来吸引顾客：顾客使用代金券，就是“valider un bon d'achat”。

在法语网站上常可看到“bouton valider”= confirm (确认按钮)

在学校里， “valider”常用于“学期，学年”,意为“完成（当期）学业，获得学分”（valider = to receive credit for）。

完成本学期的学业（学分）/修完最后一学年的课程。
2.Je voudrais étudier là-bas, dans le but de valider ma troisième année (universitaire) et d'obtenir mon diplôme.
I would like to study there in order to receive credit for my 3rd year and thus get my degree.
我想去那个学校修三年级课程，以获得学分和学位。
3.Ce cursus doit être validé par un stage de fin d’étude.
The program of study concludes with a required internship.

最后，还要提醒大家：英语的“validate”和法语的“valider”意思虽然差不多，但二者的习惯用法相差很大，一般不宜对译。
